(1) In spite of
၎ေနာက္တြင္ Noun (နာမ္)  (သို႔) Pronoun (နာမ္စား) ကပ္လိုက္ေပးရသည္။
Eg, We were happy in spite of the rain.
မိုးရြာခဲ့ေပမဲ့ ငါတို႔ေပ်ာ္ခဲ့ၾကတယ္။

(2) Despite
၎ေနာက္တြင္လည္း Noun (နာမ္) (သို႔) Pronoun (နာမ္စား) ကပ္လိုက္ေပးရသည္။
Eg, He could arrive here in time despite the traffic jam.
ယဥ္ေၾကာေတြၾကပ္ေနေပမဲ့ သူဒီကို အခ်ိန္ကိုက္ေရာက္ေအာင္ လာႏိုင္ခဲ့တယ္။
In spite of ေရာ Despite ေရာ ေနာက္တြင္ Noun (သို႔) Pronoun သာလိုက္ေပးရသည္။ မွတ္သားရန္မွာ Despite ေနာက္တြင္ “ of” မထည့္ရပါ။

(3) Although/ Even though
၎တို႔ေနာက္တြင္ Subject + Verb ပါေသာ ဝါက်လိုက္ေပးရသည္။
Eg, Although it rained, we had a great time.
မိုးရြာခဲ့ေပမဲ့ ငါတို႔ေပ်ာ္ခဲ့ၾကတယ္။
Eg, Even though he studied hard, he didn’t pass the exam.
သူစာႀကိဳးစားခဲ့ေပမဲ့ စာေမးပြဲမေအာင္ခဲ့ဘူး။
Although ႏွင့္ Even though ယွဥ္လွ်င္ Even though  က ပို၍ strong (ပိုၿပီးျပင္းထန္)သည္။

အကယ္၍ In spite of / Despite ေနာက္တြင္ Subject + Verb ပါေသာ ဝါက်လိုက္ေပးခ်င္ပါက " the fact that” စကားစုကို ၾကားတြင္ေရးၿပီး ဝါက်လိုက္ေပးႏိုင္သည္။
Eg, We were happy in spite of the fact that it rained.
မိုးရြာခဲ့ေပမဲ့ ငါတို႔ေပ်ာ္ခဲ့ၾကတယ္။
Eg, Despite the fact that he studied hard, he didn’t pass the exam.
သူစာႀကိဳးစားခဲ့ေပမဲ့ သူစာေမးပြဲမေအာင္ခဲ့ဘူး။

In spite of ရော Despite ရော နောက်တွင် Noun (သို့) Pronoun သာလိုက်ပေးရသည်။ မှတ်သားရန်မှာ Despite နောက်တွင် “ of” မထည့်ရပါ။

(3) Although/ Even though
၎င်းတို့နောက်တွင် Subject + Verb ပါသော ဝါကျလိုက်ပေးရသည်။
Eg, Although it rained, we had a great time.
မိုးရွာခဲ့ပေမဲ့ ငါတို့ပျော်ခဲ့ကြတယ်။

သူစာကြိုးစားခဲ့ပေမဲ့ စာမေးပွဲမအောင်ခဲ့ဘူး။
Although နှင့် Even though ယှဉ်လျှင် Even though  က ပို၍ strong (ပိုပြီးပြင်းထန်)သည်။

အကယ်၍ In spite of / Despite နောက်တွင် Subject + Verb ပါသော ဝါကျလိုက်ပေးချင်ပါက " the fact that” စကားစုကို ကြားတွင်ရေးပြီး ဝါကျလိုက်ပေးနိုင်သည်။
