When can replace if in zero conditionals. In the other types of conditionals, we cannot use when instead of if.
Zero conditional ေတြမွာ if အစား when ကို အစားထိုးသုံးစြဲနိုင္ပါတယ္ ၊ အျခားေသာ conditional ပုံစံမ်ားမွာ သုံးလို႔မရပါဘူး ။

ပိုျပီး အထူးျပဳေဖၚျပခ်င္တဲ႔အခါ သုံးပါမယ္ ၊ တစ္ခုခုဟာ ဘယ္လိုအေျခအေနမွာျဖစ္ေစ ျဖစ္လိမ္႔မယ္ (အျငင္းမွာဆို ျဖစ္မွာမဟုတ္ဘူး) ဆိုတဲ႔သေဘာ ေဖၚျပလိုတဲ႔အခါ သုံးပါမယ္ ။

Only if makes the condition more restrictive:
သူကေတာ႔ အေျခအေနကို ပိုျပီး တင္းက်ပ္လိုက္တာပါ ၊ ေပးထားတဲ႔ အေျခအေနနဲ႔ လုံး၀ကိုက္ညီမွ ျဖစ္မယ္ ၊ လုပ္မယ္ ဆိုတဲ႔သေဘာပါ ။

မင္းစာေမးပြဲ ေအာင္မွသာ ကားသစ္တစ္စီး၀ယ္ေပးမယ္

If the if-clause is first, the subject and the auxiliary in the main clause are inverted:
If clause ကို အရင္ေရးမယ္ဆိုလွ်င္ ေနာက္က Main clause မွာ subject နဲ႔ verb ကို ေျပာင္းျပန္ထားျပီးစဥ္ေပးရပါမယ္ (inversion လုပ္ေပးရပါမယ္)

It is used for saying that when something good happens, it may only be for a limited purpose, time etc with the meaning of even if for no other reason than.
သူကေတာ႔ ရည္ရြယ္ခ်က္ ၊ အခ်ိန္ စတဲ႔ကန္႔သတ္ခ်က္ရွိတဲ႔ ကိစၥတစ္ခုခုဟာ ျဖစ္လာလွ်င္ေကာင္းမယ္ဆိုတာကို ေျပာဖို႔သုံးပါတယ္ ..

So/As long as and providing/provided (that) can be used instead of if to express a condition. Note that providing/provided (that) is a bit formal:
ဒါေတြကိုလည္း if အစားသုံးနိုင္ပါတယ္ providing/provided (that) တို႔ကေတာ႔ formal အသုံး ေတာ္ေတာ္ေလးျဖစ္ပါတယ္ ။
