အရင္ post မွာ ဝါက်နံပါတ္ ၅၅၀ မွာရပ္ခဲ့တယ္။ ဒီမွာ ၅၅၁ မွ စလိုက္ၾကစို႔။

၅၅၁။ He is so narrow-minded.
သူ ေတာ္ေတာ္စိတ္သေဘာထားက်ဥ္းေျမာင္းတာပဲ။
(သေဘာထားမက်ဥ္းေျမာင္းဘူး၊ အျမင္ၾကယ္တယ္ဆိုရင္ broad-minded, liberal စသည္ျဖင့္သံုးပါ။)

၅၅၂။ He is computer-savvy.
သူ ကြန္ျပဴတာ ေကာင္းေကာင္းတတ္တယ္။
computer-literate လို႔လည္းသံုးတယ္။

၅၅၃။ I know nothing about computers.
ငါ ကြန္ျပဴတာအေၾကာင္း ဘာမွကိုမသိတာ။

၅၅၄။ Stop harping on the same chord.
ဒီ ဓာတ္ျပားေဟာင္းႀကီးပဲ ျပန္ျပန္ဖြင့္ေနတာ ေတာ္ပါေတာ့။
(chord ဆိုတာ ဂစ္တာေကာ့လိုေပါ့။ ဒီေကာ့တစ္ခုထဲကို ထပ္ခါထပ္ခါတီးခပ္ေနတယ္ harping on the same chord ဆိုတာ idiom ပါ။ ဒါကိုပဲ ထပ္ခါထပ္ခါျပန္ေျပာေနတာ)

to live off somebody သူမ်ားအေပၚမွီခို ကပ္စားတဲ့ အသံုးကိုမွတ္ပါ။

ဒီေန႔ေတာ့ ဒီေလာက္နဲ႔ရပ္ၾကရေအာင္။
(Let's call a day ဆိုၿပီးစာသင္ေနၾကတဲ့ဆရာေလးေတြေတာင္မွားသံုးေနၾကတာခဏခဏေတြ႕ေနရတယ္။ Call it a day.ပါ)

သူတို႔ စကားမ်ား၊ အျငင္းအခုံျဖစ္ၿပီးေတာ့ ျပန္ေခၚသြားၾကၿပီ။ ျပန္ေျပလည္သြားၿပီ။
they have made up ကိုမွတ္ပါ။

သူဟာ ဟိုစပ္စပ္ဒီစပ္စပ္အကုန္လုပ္တဲ့သူ။
(ဟိုဟာနဲနဲ ဒီဟာနဲနဲသိတယ္၊ ဘာမွေတာ့အေသအခ်ာမတတ္ဘူး)
Jack of all trades, master of none. ဆိုတဲ့ဆို႐ိုးစကားမွလာတဲ့အသံုးပါ။

မင္းရဲ႕ ပုဂိၢဳလ္ေရးကိစၥေတြမွာ ငါဝင္မပါခ်င္ဘူး။

သူ အဂၤလိပ္စကား သြက္လက္စြာေျပာႏိုင္တယ္။

သူဟာ ဘာသာစကားသံုးမ်ိဳးကို ေကာင္းေကာင္းေျပာႏိုင္တယ္။

မင္းကိုမင္း မွန္ထဲျပန္ၾကည့္ပါ။

သူဟာ ခ်ဲ႕ကားေျပာတတ္တဲ့ အက်င့္ရွိတယ္။ ပိုေျပာတတ္တယ္။
