၆၁၁။ The boss frowns upon my lateness./tardiness.
သူေဌးက ငါေနာက္က်တာကို ၿငိဳျငင္တယ္။ သေဘာမက်ဘူး။
frown ဆိုတာ မ်က္ေမွာင္ၾကဳတ္ၿပီးၾကည့္တာ
frown upon something ဆိုတာ တခုခုကိုသေဘာမက် ဘဝင္မက်လို႔ ရႈံ့မဲ့ၿပီးၾကည့္တယ္ လို႔သံုုးတာ။

၆၁၂။ Don't put if off. Do it right away.
အခ်ိန္မေရႊ႕နဲ႔။ ခုခ်က္ခ်င္းလုပ္။
put off= delay

ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံဟာ အာရွတိုက္ထဲမွာရွိတာ လူတိုင္းသိပါတယ္။

ငါတို႔တိုင္းျပည္ဟာ ဖြံ့ၿဖိဳးဆဲတိုင္းျပည္ဆိုတာ အားလံုးသိၿပီးသားပါ။
အားလံုးသိၿပီးသားပါလို႔ ေျပာရင္ ဝါက် နံပါတ္ ၆၁၈ မွာ လို Everybody knows that..... လို႔ေျပာရသလို ဒီဝါက်မွာစထားသလို It's no secret that....လို႔လည္းေျပာလို႔ရတယ္။

မင္း ငါ့ကို တစ္ခုကူညီပါလား။
Can you do me a favour? လို႔လည္းေျပာပါ။

၆၂၆။ Can you give me a hand with this?
မင္းငါ့ကို ဒါေလးတစ္ခ်က္ေလာက္ကူညီပါလား။
Can you give me a hand? အီဒီယံပါ။ လက္ေပးခိုင္းတာ မဟုတ္။ အကူအညီေတာင္းတာ။

၆၂၇။ Could you spare a moment?
အခ်ိန္ေလးနဲနဲ (ခဏေလာက္) ေပးပါလား။

၆၂၈။ I need some help, please.
ကၽြန္ေတာ္ အကူအညီလိုေနလို႔ပါ။

I am tied up. ဆိုတဲ့ အသံုးကိုမွတ္ပါ။ ခ်ီၿပီးတုပ္ၿပီးျဖစ္ေနတယ္ဆိုတာ I am busy လို႔ေျပာတာ။

(ခဏေလးေစာင့္) ငါမင္းဆီကိုလာလုပ္ေပးမယ္။

မွတ္ခ်က္မေပးခ်င္။ ဘာမွမေျပာခ်င္။

ဝမ္းနည္းပါတယ္။ ဒါဟာ လွို႔ဝွက္ထားရမယ့္ကိစၥ ေျပာလို႔မရပါ။

အဲဒီအေၾကာင္း ငါမေျပာပါရေစနဲ႔။

ငါ ေျပာခြင့္မရွိပါ။
I am not at liberty= I am not allowed to do it; I don't have the authority/freedom to do it

ဝမ္းနည္းပါတယ္၊ ဒါဟာ ပုဂၢိဳလ္ေရးကိစၥပါ။
